How It Works
Incoming WhatsApp messages are routed to your ChatBotKit bot, which generates a reply and sends it back through your WhatsApp Business account. When contact collection is enabled, the integration automatically associates each conversation with the matching contact and records the customer's name and phone number. Contact collection is disabled by default, so you stay in control of what data is captured.
Setup
Create a WhatsApp integration in ChatBotKit, connect your WhatsApp Business account, and select the bot that should handle conversations. Enable contact collection in the integration settings if you want conversations linked to contact records.
