Business Development Manager

(B2B Sales) – ChatBotKit (Remote)

ChatBotKit, a fast-growing London-based conversational AI and agentic platform company, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (B2B Sales) for a fully remote role. In this position, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospects, and schedule demos of ChatBotKit’s AI platform. We are looking for a mid- to senior-level sales professional with a strong B2B SaaS or technology sales background, ideally with experience in sectors such as e-commerce, SaaS, education, or government. Although the role is fully remote, joining ChatBotKit means becoming part of the thriving London AI Hub community, which brings together AI entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry leaders for collaboration and innovation even outside a traditional office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Proactively identify and research new B2B sales opportunities in target industries (e.g. e-commerce, SaaS, EdTech, government) and qualify inbound leads.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through cold calls, email campaigns, social selling (LinkedIn, etc.), and networking.
  • Product Demonstrations: Schedule and conduct compelling demos of ChatBotKit’s AI chatbot/agentic platform, highlighting features and business value to prospects.
  • Pipeline Management: Work closely with marketing to nurture leads, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting in the CRM system.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs by effectively communicating ChatBotKit’s value proposition.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the product and marketing teams to provide customer feedback, help refine messaging, and develop sales collateral.
  • Reporting: Track all sales activities, update records in the CRM, and report on progress to management.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales (mid-market/enterprise). Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing new business.
  • Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with selling into e-commerce, software/SaaS, education/EdTech, or government clients is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong ability to understand customer needs and craft tailored solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers (e.g. C-level, department heads) in target industries.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Instantly,Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io). Familiarity with analytics/reporting tools is a plus.
  • Attributes: Energetic, positive attitude with a growth mindset, and a passion for AI/technology. Bonus if you have an existing network in the London tech/AI community.
