Elggo

Elggo is an AI-driven wellbeing platform for K–12 schools in the MENA and Southeast Asia regions.  Founded after the COVID-19 pandemic to address a critical lack of culturally relevant mental-health resources, Elggo delivers evidence-based curricula and digital lessons designed by regional psychologists and educators. Elgo is described as “the MENA region’s & South East Asia’s first AI-powered wellbeing platform for K–12 schools,” with personalized learning pathways and data-driven content for maximum impact.  Early pilots have shown strong results - in a trial of 12,000 students across 32 schools, Elggo saw a 30% increase in average student wellbeing (WHO-5 index).

Challenges

• Cultural and language diversity: Schools in MENA and Southeast Asia serve students speaking many languages and dialects. Lesson content must respect local norms and be available in relevant languages. Previously, schools had a “lack of accessible and culturally relevant mental health resources”, making engagement difficult.
• Scalability: Supporting thousands of students and dozens of schools requires technology that can scale. Human counselors are limited, and schools need tools that work across entire curricula.
• Real-time, personalized support: Students need timely guidance when facing emotional challenges, but teachers can’t address every need individually. A scalable system must offer 24/7 in-app support that adapts to each student’s situation.
• Data and reporting: Schools and regulators (like IB or KHDA) require evidence and analytics on student wellbeing. Generating comprehensive reports by hand is time-consuming. Elggo needed automated reporting to track trends in school culture and wellbeing across large populations.

Elggo’s platform meets these challenges by deeply integrating ChatBotKit’s AI tools:

• Conversational AI & Widgets: Elggo uses ChatBotKit’s AI agent and embeddable widget to power its student-facing assistant and journaling tools.
