Attachment Options Now Available in All Messaging Integrations

Enhance user interactions with chatbots by enabling the new attachments option, allowing for dynamic processing of images and files, while ensuring secure and streamlined conversations.

We are excited to announce a transformative update to our platform, now featuring built-in support for attachments on all supported messaging platforms including WhatsApp, Messenger, and Telegram. This new functionality is made possible through an innovative option aptly named "attachments," which enables a vast array of interactive and responsive capabilities for chatbots.

In its default setting, ChatBotKit does not process attachments when users upload them during conversations. This ensures a streamlined and secure interaction, suitable for various business needs. However, with the new attachments option enabled, ChatBotKit can collect and store attachments as part of each conversation, marking a significant enhancement in how users can interact with chatbots.

Once activated, this feature allows ChatBotKit customers to enhance their chatbots extensively. Bots can be configured to leverage the vision Skillset actions, enabling them to understand and interact based on the contents of an image or any file type. Furthermore, chatbots can also upload attachments to third-party services, expanding the utility and integration potential exponentially.

The introduction of attachment support opens up endless possibilities for our customers. By enabling this feature, developers can create more dynamic and useful bots that can perform a variety of tasks, from processing images and documents to integrating with external databases and APIs.

This update is designed to enhance user engagement and satisfaction by making interactions more versatile and productive. It also underscores ChatBotKit's commitment to continually evolving its platform to meet the needs of modern businesses and developers.
